Mar. 6th 2009 - Homegrown ~ Town of Banff Art Show
9th Annual Celebration of Original Community Art

The exhibit runs from March 6th - April 3rd, 2009 at the Banff Town Hall.

This annual exhibition showcases the work of a wide variety of artists living in the Bow Valley. Some are professionals, while others are amateur artists who create art for personal pleasure.

The HomeGrown opening reception will be held at Banff Town Hall (110 Bear Street) on Friday, March 6th from 7 - 9 p.m.

I will have one piece in this show. I am very excited about it. It is a Polaroid quilt I made by sewing together copies of Polaroids on photo paper. The images were originally in my show Seeing Double: Visions of Human/Nature in Banff, which featured original Polaroid double exposures.

For more information you can visit the Town of Banff website.

        Feb. 13th 2009 - Chelsea Erotica V: Swell
“The cushion covers double as sex instruction manuals, just in case you forget what to do next when reclining with your sweetheart.

The brassière cups shaped like teddy bear faces are cute but, being made of metal, might be dangerously unsuitable for wearing outdoors in winter.

The sensual video about washing dishes is steamy enough to melt the snow on the ski slopes of nearby Camp Fortune.

Welcome to Erotica V: Swell, the almost annual Old Chelsea erotic art show held most years to mark Valentine's Day in the sexiest way possible."
