DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP in SAN MIGUEL de ALLENDE, MEXICO, JANUARY 6th-12th, 2008

(Please click on the thumbnail images to the left to view the brochure for more information. If you have questions or would like Tiffany to email you this brochure or to mail you a hard copy, please email her at tiffany@oldesage.com.)

Colonial San Miguel is a national historic landmark, home to an international community of artists, writers, & sculptors. The near perfect weather makes it comfortable to stroll the cobblestone streets & admire the charm of its colourful architecture and rich history.

STUDY photography in San Miguel where photographic opportunities abound. Every street & alley conceals a secret; a tiny hand painted tile embossed into a crumbling wall, a discreet door that gives way to a breathtaking courtyard. You might even spot a burro (donkey) resting in the shade of an ancient tree.

LEARN practical ways of photographing while exploring & respecting the cultural differences in a foreign country. Indulge your curiosity while practicing the technical & creative skills needed to produce memorable images.

STAY with your instructor, Tiffany Teske, at the impressive Casa Magnifica, a 5-bedroom home in the Historical Centre. Set on a hill, it comes complete with its own cook & housekeeper, heated swimming pool, & stunning wrap around balcony with a stunning view of the town. In the evenings cozy up to the fireplace with a glass of wine, sit on the veranda & discuss art, or simply reflect on your day as the town twinkles.

EXPLORE SMA on your days off... Spend time in San Miguel’s upscale boutiques & outdoor markets; take a house & garden tour or perhaps pottery, yoga or Spanish lessons. As for the cuisine, be sure to try the unbeatable dishes that draw from various culinary influences, such as fiambre, rabo de zorra and pacholas
